CST338 - Module 7 (Simple Android App)

 

7.1 Have you ever created an app before, either for Android or iPhone?  How did it go?

I have never created any apps before this class. This week was my first introduction to creating an app and it was really enjoyable. I liked the design aspect of it the most because this week brought out my creativity. I wish that we had a full course for app development but I can just go on Udemy and purchase a class there if i'm interested.

7.2 Do you have any ideas for apps that you could create for recreation?  What about business?

I don't have any ideas for apps that I could create for fun or business. I think coming up with an idea is the hardest part for me. I'm trying to be better at that but i think it helps if i were to bounce ideas with some colleagues rather than doing it alone.

7.3 Update your learning journal from what you experienced this week with class. 

This week in class we learned the basics of android studio. We created a simple app that allows us to navigate through the list of classes that are for this program.Overall, the project was pretty simple. I wish we went more in depth and had this for a semester instead of one week.
