I have many take away from this class. The top three things would be time management, working together with groups members, and skills needed to succeed in a computer science program and career.
Time management has been the most challenging part for me because I had to balance out what I had going on in life with school. Sometimes I didn't feel motivated enough to study or do homework but as the time went on, I saw how important it was to keep a regular schedule in order to be more time efficient with my work so that I have time to do things that I enjoy.
Working together with my group members was also one of things that i learned. Everyone has different backgrounds and skillets and we utilized those to our advantage with group projects and peer reviews which helped all of us tremendously. Communication in the group setting was also challenging because everyone had their own schedules so it was hard to be able to connect with everyone but we figured out the times that were best for our schedules to meet and collaborate.
I also learned proper writing skills and learned how to better organize my ideas in a cohesive manner in order to present them more clearly and effectively. This skill will go a long way in my career because I will eventually have to present my ideas on projects in the future.
Collaborative efforts for this project was challenging since everyone had different schedules. We did our best and put out the best product we can given the time and constraints we had. Next time, we will communicate more often which I think will help with the overall result of the project.
